  • Beautiful, quiet, peaceful. We went here to enjoy the medicine wheel and it was a wonderful experience.  more »
  • They do a great job explaining what the place is about. It is off the beaten path, and worth the drive. It is open to all faiths and beliefs. They are open to everyone. All of the people we met were v...  more »

  • Amazing, serene place to meditate and start a hike in the red rocks. Connects directly to Thunder Mountain Trail, and Chimney Rock Trail for incredible extension of the natural beauty surrounding this setting. Many small areas have been designed as offerings and altars-a feast for the eyes-next to the sublime, rugged landscape of the high desert with wildflowers, cactus, and pines. I notice something new every time, and always feel regenerated.
  • The Tibetan Buddhist Stupa is located conveniently right off of the Chimney Rock trail. For 12 years I lived just two blocks away and watched the construction take place that eventually manifested as this new sacred place. Hike the Chimney Rock trail and include this place of serenity along the way. Find a local New Age expert to share with you the entire history of the Stupa's creation and the group that brought it to fruition. Quite a story.
  • Peaceful, enlightening, beautiful. There are few places in this world that call to my soul, and this is one of them. Bring an offering (non-perishable) and, if you can, a donation so one day a temple can be built. No pressure, but it would be nice.
  • So sad to me that such a beautiful sacred piece of earth can only be shared by people who chose to celebrate life in peace and silence only to share their written words repeatedly to discourage another people who just maybe came across such a beautiful sacred piece of earth and choose to celebrate life joyous and singing her beauty with our voices eager to share! We don't come in perposly yelling and talking ugly! We come in with our families who celebrate and give thanks to the beauty that's before us in a way we've never seen! We mean no disrespect nor are we unconscious to our surrounding! Our meditation is remembering the beauty and joy we shared when we are in our homes alone and lonely! I alone would love to take my visiting family to see the beauty of my chosen loneliness! Robert
  • Great easy to find location in Sedona. It's an easy hike to a spectacular location, and from there you can wander far into the hills surrounding the community. Get there early as parking is limited. Don't be surprised if you see a coyote! Huge thumbs up!
