  • Had the ceviche. It appeared that it included pre-boiled whole shrimp which was dry and chewy. Never saw it prepared that way before and I eat ceviche a lot. The trout was tasteless and dry...

  • A nice hike just below the rim of the mesa. Because it's a loop around, you get some nice views of the surrounding valleys and vistas. If you're lucky, you may have a small plane fly overhead when you're near the end of the runway. A portion of this hike runs adjacent to the airport fence, so you sort of lose that "nature" aspect for that part. Otherwise it's a different and cool type of hike.
  • This is my favorite hike that I’ve done in Sedona! It is a very moderate hike with gorgeous views that are visible shortly into the hike. Unlike Devil’s Bridge and Cathedral Rock (where the trail is quite frightening at times because of narrow ledges or steep, smooth inclines) this hike feels safe and much less intimidating. Perfect for newbie hikers and experienced hikers who are looking for a beautiful stroll.
  • Airport Mesa was a nice, short trail that offered a cable handrail to assist with the climb up. As older folks, my husband and I considered this a luxury. This is a great place to take photos, and I recommend parking in the airport parking lot which is near the trail.
  • Went here for the sunset. There is a 1 mile hike to reach the top which is not pretty easy and the sunset view was amazing. There are too many people when we went though. While hiking back after sunset the view gets even better with the light on in the city. You can also park at the spot and there is view point which needs no hike. You can just sit there and enjoy the view.
  • On the mesa is a restaurant, an airport, and air tourism by plane and helicopter and trails. On the mesa is a birthing cave and scenic trails that provide a panoramic view of the Verde Valley below. The overlook is an excellent place to watch the sunset.
