Many of the stores are pricy but lots of variety. We always eat at the Cheesecake Factory in the mall and there are lot of other food choices and lots of parking available  more »

I visited this mall while we were in Seattle. The mall has Macy's, Pandora, Jcpenney and a ton of other stores. I would go to this mall again if I were in Seattle.  more »

Love this mall! I have been going here since a kid and 20 years later it has only gotten better. Great stores to choose from! Tons of kiosks filled with goodies all over. Food court is great! A great variety of foods to chose from.

It's a nice mall, but here is a lot of turn over for stores here. They don't have enough handicap parking or bathrooms. Their HVAC system sucks! It gets really hot when there are a lot of people and/or it is hot outside. I recommend going to the mall during the week because there isn't a lot of people there. Their eating selection is good. It has sit downs and fast food. For it being such a large mall in a city, you think they would have longer hours, but they don't. They close at 7 pm on Sundays and 9pm on the other days except during holidays.

This was my husband and I fist time here and it was a decent experience. I loved all of the restaurants in this mall. It had a lot of activities, and I believe it would be a great family experience that everyone would enjoy.

This is a large mall and can be confusing if you are new. There are a lot of good stores with more outside the mall and down the street. Located right off the freeway, it is easy to find, but with recent traffic revisions, can be a little tricky to get into. Follow the signs to make sure you are in the correct lane to avoid having to go down the street and make a U-turn. In the parking lot of the mall is Bahama Breeze which is a great place to get a drink. The food is nothing to write home about, but if you are into tropical cocktails/mocktails, this is your place!

One of the biggest (if not the biggest) shopping centers on the west coast. Has your fair share of restaurants and stores. Nothing too special about this particular shopping location besides the large variety of vendors. South Center can get pretty packed on the weekends so I suggest going on the weekday to avoid heavy traffic and parking complications. Recommended for shopaholics as there are endless stores to visit and shop from.

Where to stay in Seattle

Famous for its architecture, Seattle's downtown area features a range of lodging options, including high-end hotels offering expensive rooms with views over Elliott Bay. Remember that despite their prices, many hotels in this waterfront district provide rather small rooms. If you need more space but don't want to break the bank, head out of downtown to some of the city's outlying neighborhoods. Seattle's diverse suburbs offer affordable bed and breakfasts, providing you with all the comforts of home and allowing you to see what local life is really like.
