This park is huge and a great place to sit and enjoy the scenery especially along the Lake Washington waterfront. It was a nice quiet interlude on our trip visiting the nearby Hiram Chittenden Locks a... read more »
A straight shot down 45th. Great spot for university students to run and relax. Beautiful view of Lake Washington. Both paved trails and gravel trails. Great dog park!
This used to be a Navy Base. One of the best little "hiding places" during a work day if you need to de-stress for a second, or even for an end-of-day urban hike. It's huge and has many spots to explore. The little beach is cute and is sometimes staffed with a lifeguard. I have been here for years and have seen the improvements done by Seattle Parks and Recreation. Kudos, Seattle City.
fun place to watch the gay rugby tournament last year! good parking and easy to navigate. the dog park is extensive and amazing as well. have much more to explore before a full review! enjoy these little seattle gems!
Had a good walking time with family around the park. Went for the short hikes inside the park. Was beautiful watching the sun light scatter through the trees! Clear weather, got to see Mt. Rainier. :D
Excellent place for spending a day or evenings next to Washington lake. Has several day picnic areas and group get-together tents for parties. Nice swimming area for everyone with lifeguards on site during day time. Has a boat ramp too and a nice trail for a walk.
Great park right on the beach. Lifeguard watched area for swimmt. Plenty of space to relax for everyone. Didn't check out personally, but seems to have a massive unleashed area for dogs.
