  • Great trip, comfortable with friendly staff. Ship clean and new. If full though it can get a little tight.

  • I took this for the trip to Victoria in winter.Since I was so easy to get motion sickness, it was horrible experience with lots of bumping. However, it was easy to make a reservation.  more »

  • So glad to have the Clipper Cafe next to our hotel. It was nice to be able to grab a quick breakfast and a good cup of coffee for a reasonable price. My food was always ready in under 10 minutes. I stopped in between 8-9 so I don't know what the wait for would be like with the Clipper ferry rush. The breakfast burrito had seasoned fried potatoes, choice of bacon or sausage, eggs and cheese. I tried the bacon breakfast burrito. It was tasty and filling. Had the oatmeal the next day and that was good. They give you a pack with the add-ins on the side. My daughter had the Ellenos yogurt parfait. It was good but I do recommend asking the price before purchase. Ellenos yogurt is on the pricey side. Coffee is solid. It's from Caffe Vita which is a locally owned company.

Where to stay in Seattle

Famous for its architecture, Seattle's downtown area features a range of lodging options, including high-end hotels offering expensive rooms with views over Elliott Bay. Remember that despite their prices, many hotels in this waterfront district provide rather small rooms. If you need more space but don't want to break the bank, head out of downtown to some of the city's outlying neighborhoods. Seattle's diverse suburbs offer affordable bed and breakfasts, providing you with all the comforts of home and allowing you to see what local life is really like.
