  • My fix for quality brands at discount. You may have have dig deep on perseverance because it literally is a rack and utilises the retail space to the max. But you are likely to find great deals here are likely to keep coming back.
  • When I only want to spend half of my paycheck, I come to Nordstrom Rack. Love their selection of handbags, clothing, and accessories. They have a 90-day return policy so if I don't wear something after a few weeks, automatically goes back to the store and I get to shop for something else. Love that it's affordable and close to home.
  • Good prices and a decent, albeit small, men's range. Staff are helpful and friendly.
  • Downtown Seattle location is relatively easy to get in and out of. They let you cash out at any spot in the store with a employee if you are paying with card. I just needed to grab a tie. I went in. I got a cheap but nice tie and got out in less than 10 minutes.
  • There was a great selection here, and I liked that you could bring up to 15 items into the fitting rooms. This was very different from the typical Nordstrom experience, as it's all one big room, sort of like a TJ Maxx (only more upscale). Good for digging through a lot of clothes in a short amount of time. They had an ENORMOUS shoe section- like aisles and aisles for each size. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was that the staff was rushed and not very into answering questions.

Where to stay in Seattle

Famous for its architecture, Seattle's downtown area features a range of lodging options, including high-end hotels offering expensive rooms with views over Elliott Bay. Remember that despite their prices, many hotels in this waterfront district provide rather small rooms. If you need more space but don't want to break the bank, head out of downtown to some of the city's outlying neighborhoods. Seattle's diverse suburbs offer affordable bed and breakfasts, providing you with all the comforts of home and allowing you to see what local life is really like.
