  • The additions to the sculpture park help it feel like a living outdoor museum and on a pretty day ( even a windy day) this walk ( plus warming in at the cafĂ© on the premises) is a romantic thing to do...  more »
  • This Park is great for Walking/Biking/Running. So close to downtown, yet very peaceful. Several benches and Sandy beaches to enjoy. Walk down to the grain silo and beyond.  more »

  • Great place for a little picnic, a little frisbee, sitting on a bench to enjoy the view, or going for a run. Bring your dog! There's a separate path for bikers so no worrying about collisions. There are some stony beaches you can go down to and skip rocks as well. Come during sunset for a breathtaking view. Currently not many options for bathrooms so be prepared.
  • Beautiful views from this park with a cute little beach alcove. Love grabbing a picnic blanket, some snacks and a good book to read out there.
  • One of the best places in Seattle to get away. Great views and an awesome place to relax and people watch
  • Great views of the city, the harbor, and the mountains. Nicely made trails and some benches.
  • Great park for locals and tourists. You get to enjoy the view of Elliot Bay and all of the wildlife in the Puget Sound.

Where to stay in Seattle

Famous for its architecture, Seattle's downtown area features a range of lodging options, including high-end hotels offering expensive rooms with views over Elliott Bay. Remember that despite their prices, many hotels in this waterfront district provide rather small rooms. If you need more space but don't want to break the bank, head out of downtown to some of the city's outlying neighborhoods. Seattle's diverse suburbs offer affordable bed and breakfasts, providing you with all the comforts of home and allowing you to see what local life is really like.
