Museum of History & Industry, Seattle
Categories: Specialty Museums, Museums
Discover for yourself the history and tradition of Seattle and the American Northwest at Museum of History & Industry. Inside the museum you'll find one of the most comprehensive collections of artifacts in the whole region. See the first Boeing commercial plane, take a look through the original World War II submarine periscope, and travel through Seattle's history from the city's beginnings to the modern age. In addition to the permanent displays, which show just a fraction of its collection, the museum regularly sets up themed exhibits (look up the schedule online before you arrive). The museum is easily accessible via public transportation, and there is also designated parking for visitors who arrive by car, as well as the historical wharf for those who prefer to sail in. Make Museum of History & Industry a centerpiece of your Seattle vacation itinerary, and find what else is worth visiting using our Seattle itinerary maker.

We spent about an hour here on Museum Free Thursday and saw some things of interest but I'm not sure it would be worth paying admission since it is a bit out of the main area.
