  • Lincoln park is a lovely walk in the woods. Popular for walking your dog. Woods or beach, this is a park to visit in West Seattle. Watch the ferry depart for Vashon and Kitsap County.
  • People will often go to Alki Beach when in West Seattle with its long beach and view of downtown. However, if you want more trails in big trees or a walk along the water in a less crowded area, go to ...  read more »

  • Perfect all year round for a quick nature fix, walking you dog, run or skate board. Also pool, playgrounds and Pokemon. Amazing view of the Puget Sound and Islands. Trails through out the park. There are cabanas for public use unless rented for group events. Great for all ages.
  • Terrific, the city's best park. Not necessarily a best bet for dog owners (no off leash or swimming area) but awesome for families, fitness nuts, sun bathers, nature lovers, or walkers. There are 3 baseball fields, 2 excellent playgrounds, a wading pool and salt-water pool, and trails that take you from a dense forest to the lip if the Puget Sound. Decent parking options too.
  • Very beautiful water views once you hit the beachfront. there are two parking lots, one that takes you through some trails which you could walk around in, or another that is pretty close to the beach itself. lot's of benches and charcoal grills are set up along the water so if you're into picnics, this is a nice spot. if you park closer to the first parking off Fauntleroy, i recommend getting back to the car before dark if you don't have a flashlight as the forest is not well lit in the interior portion. Only the forest path towards the other lot is lit (dimly at that). if you play Pokemon GO, this park has a fair amount of Charmanders that appear (as of this post).
  • Great park to explore. Wonderful views and plenty if off trails to follow and explore. Also a family of eagles live nearby and you can catch them soaring along the water and up above the tree line. My pup loves it here!
  • We went around 1 in the afternoon and there were lots of people here. It has such a nice atmosphere and so green. Lots of awesome trails to walk and you feel like your in the middle of the forest far away from the city. And then you can go down to the beach. Lots of picnic area's to sit down/eat at. If you play pokemon like my husband, there are lots of stops. Cool places for kids to play with a pool that's about 2ft deep for kids to play in near the front of the park just before the gas station at the one end. Great place to play.
