We walked through the garden last Sunday on a sunny and crisp day. I believe because of the recent press it received in the newspaper, the crowd was up, but by no means crowded. It is a well maintaine... read more »
One of the prettiest parks I have ever visited. Not at all what I expected when I pulled into the parking lot, but once I was inside this FREE garden it is amazing. I recommend that you just start wal... read more »
Ein japanischer Garten, den wir auf Empfehlung mehrerer Reiseführern besucht haben, war ganz nett aber nicht mehr.A Japanese garden, we have visited on the recommendation of several travel guides, was quite nice but not more.show original
A hidden gem fairly close to the airport. Big garden with lots of places to walk. Reminds me of the gardens you can find in Japan. Admission and parking is free. It is a nice walk around the garden, just watch out for runners. Beware, if you have trouble walking, there are some routes that can be more strenuous than others. I took my parents, and they were winded because of the undulations.
I was really disappointed during my visit to this location, and really felt somewhat uncomfortable. Between couples exploring each others bodies on park benches to the homeless chilling, the vibe was less than appealing. Now we watched two youngish ladies get out of a car tricked out with illegal tints and dope rims, dressed in mini skirts and heals. The man driving the vehicle left the girls and both ladies made their way down the trails, 20 minutes later they returned, counting cash and fixing skirts. Who knows what happened, but the man with the tinted windows, promptly scooped these girls up and they peeled out of the parking lot.
The area was very pretty. Only thing missing was the Japanese fish. Maybe they are under maintenance, but there wasn't any fish like other posts have said. Also dog friendly. Pets must be on a lease.
Awesome place to walk around and relax. Beautiful scenery. Also a good place to play Pokémon Go, there's a few Pokéstops and usually 2 Scythers roaming around at a time.
This park was the best i ever visited, the scenery is amazing for photography, the fish pond is catchy, the general environment was amazing and is even good for a wedding reception.
