  • This is a beautiful gem of a garden that is lovely all year round--but especially in the spring. It is a bit challenging to find but worth it. Go!  more »
  • This park is not to be missed--by locals or visitors. WE enjoyed our walk through this wonderful place--even on a cool, occasionally rainy day! Seattle is fortunate to have such a unique park.  more »
  • This is a beautiful Garden. Very relaxing to walk through and view the beautiful vegetation. Would be beautiful for a photo shoot for engagement/wedding.  more »

  • Very impressive! Numerous very mature Japanese maples, hosta, various conifers, etc. It is a must see and is great if you want to pack a picnic basket, take photos, or take a nice walk. The history of how the garden came to be is also a very interesting story as it was basically designed and constructed by one man. Admission is free, however, donations can be submitted at the entry.
  • My favorite place for a stroll--it baffles me how this is still such a hidden gem. All the best things about a Japanese garden, but with local PNW flair. Usually plenty of parking, Kubota is great during all four seasons. Cherry blossoms in the spring, hydrangeas and rhododendron in the summer, gorgeous maples in all colors in the fall, and an assortment of evergreens in the winter, plus koi ponds and waterfalls, Japanese stone lanterns, and much more!
  • Absolutely beautiful! Came here for a wedding, was not disappointed. My friends and I noticed that there was no trash/litter in the park. How do they do it? How nice...
  • It's beautiful, peaceful, quiet. Full of beautiful trails, ponds, koi fish, turtles, streams. Me and my kids spend hours here! I I will definitely be making a trip to this Garden more than twice a year! I love it!
  • Great place to see the leaves turn different colors of you're from LA! Not many flowers so if you're expecting more of a botanical experience there might be better spots. But very fun to explore :)
