Kerry Park, Seattle
(4.7/5 based on 2,200+ reviews on the web)
Head to Kerry Park for views of Seattle, complete with the Space Needle in the foreground of the city skyline. Watch ferries traversing Elliott Bay, see the twinkling city lights, or, on a clear day, spot Mt. Rainier in the distance. This panoramic scene is worth the uphill walk to the park, but the park itself is small and, therefore, typically only used as a place for taking postcard perfect photos and simply enjoying the view. Use our Seattle vacation generator to add Kerry Park and other attractions to your Seattle vacation plans.

  • This places the space needle and Seattle can be seen together in the night. Really, really nice. Know who found this place I'd love to spend a round of applause.

  • This is definitely the best viewpoint of the city, it is best to go in the evening since they can take very good pictures, that just arrive a little earlier because many people come to this by his fame and the good location.

  • We stop here every time we're in Seattle. One of the best views around and a fun car ride. Would also recommend the view of downtown from Aliki Beach.

  • A friend recommended we see the city here over Space Needle. Glad we did! On a clear day you see it all (including the needle)- have a seat on the stone wall and just take it all in. Grateful to the Mr & Mrs Kerry for donating such a thoughtful place.
  • Not even going to post a pic, this is your stereotypical view of Seattle, every news caster, every National Coverage, Everything on TV/News that you see that shows the Seattle skyline with the Space Needle, It's done from this point. Read the review, they all say the same thing. This is an Iconic Seattle Landmark Viepoint. Definitely stop by if you are visiting.
  • Oh my goodness this place is a hidden gem. Sure it's a hike up but the views are AMAZING. Don't even bother with the space needle because you can see it from Kerry park! Not too crowded and the area itself is relaxed and low key. I love it. Stayed here to enjoy the view for at least an hour, mostly though because it took me 15min just to get up the stairs.
  • Some of the best views you can get of the water and downtown Seattle. This place gets really busy in the day and evening time when people come to appreciate the view. Parking is hard but not impossible. Its easily accessible by bus too. Highly recommend visiting here
  • It has a very cool view, but this park is tiny. Like get out of your car and look, tiny. That's it, it's all about the view. Good for pictures, quiet moments, couples, but not someplace you'd want to hang out. Street parking.
