Kerry Park, Seattle

(2,400+ reviews on the web)
Nature / Park
Head to Kerry Park for views of Seattle, complete with the Space Needle in the foreground of the city skyline. Watch ferries traversing Elliott Bay, see the twinkling city lights, or, on a clear day, spot Mt. Rainier in the distance. This panoramic scene is worth the uphill walk to the park, but the park itself is small and, therefore, typically only used as a place for taking postcard perfect photos and simply enjoying the view. Use our Seattle vacation generator to add Kerry Park and other attractions to your Seattle vacation plans.

  • Kerry Park is very small, but it's busy since the view is famous. It's only a few blocks from Parson't Garden Park .. and while you in the area, both should be checked out.  more »

  • This park has one of the best views of Seattle, so it is a must see, BUT is often "wall-to-wall" tourists and people who've had their tripods there for half the day taking the same picture as everyone else over and over again. Somehow still frantic. If you are looking for a more local, calmer vibe to go with your sweeping views I recommend Discovery park or just up the street at Marshall Park/Betty Bowen Viewpoint.
  • Nice little place. Great view of the skyline. A few obstructions due to the trees and cranes. This is a small area and I visited this place on a weekday (Friday later afternoon). I believe that this is a popular place and it does get crowded on weekends. Parking your car could be tough here on weekends. On weekday it should be fairly easy.
  • Love this place. I frequent here often when I come to visit Seattle. I usually come here late night to early morning and it's still crowded. Parking can be filled. It's street parking in residential area. Probably the only day it's not crowded is on St. Patrick's Day.
  • Such a beautiful view of the Seattle downtown skyline amd Space Needle as well as West Seattle. At night the city is luminous with the colorful lights coming from office buildings and the Space Needle. There are some benches to sit on and gaze out, a low wall to perch yourself, or even just bring a blanket to sit out on the grass. It can get crowded there and parking on street can be difficult, especially during the summer tourist months, but aside from that, it a wonderful place to visit with a friend or significant other to take in the beauty of Seattle.
  • It's a small park, but you can see the Seattle skyline from here. Kinda wish the trees were a cut a bit short so it doesn't obstruct the view. Nonethless, great place to take some pictures with friends, family or special occasions.
