Kerry Park, Seattle
Categories: Nature & Parks
Head to Kerry Park for views of Seattle, complete with the Space Needle in the foreground of the city skyline. Watch ferries traversing Elliott Bay, see the twinkling city lights, or, on a clear day, spot Mt. Rainier in the distance. This panoramic scene is worth the uphill walk to the park, but the park itself is small and, therefore, typically only used as a place for taking postcard perfect photos and simply enjoying the view. Kerry Park is small but I don't think you'll get a better view of the Seattle skyline anywhere else. The Seattle skyline is a straight shot from the park!
Free parking, free attraction. Small little park with benches, but probably one of the best views of the city from up on a hill over in the Queen Anne district. Might have to park a little way down th... read more »
The park has a fantastic view of the city line of Seattle. You can take fabulous pictures from this vantage point. The park is small and there is limited parking. Worth seeing.
Oh my goodness this place is a hidden gem. Sure it's a hike up but the views are AMAZING. Don't even bother with the space needle because you can see it from Kerry park! Not too crowded and the area itself is relaxed and low key. I love it. Stayed here to enjoy the view for at least an hour, mostly though because it took me 15min just to get up the stairs.
Some of the best views you can get of the water and downtown Seattle. This place gets really busy in the day and evening time when people come to appreciate the view. Parking is hard but not impossible. Its easily accessible by bus too. Highly recommend visiting here
Google mentioned this as a great place to get the best view of Seattle when I was looking for touristy spots on vacation. It certainly is a great view, including the Skyline, Space Needle, and Mt Rainier. Park was nice and clean with some old school quarter telescopes and some interesting art. Certainly worth the 10 min drive.
Great views of the city of Seattle. Luckily it was a clear day when we visited and were able to see Mt Rainier along the horizon. This is a free attraction and in a neighborhood so parking can be a little difficult during peak times when the weather is clear, or at sunset. Lots of photography opportunities as well.
This is the most amazing postcard view of Seattle from anywhere. The view is absolutely stunning especially on a nice clear evening when you can see Mt Rainer and the colors of the sun shines through. Absolutely a must visit if you are looking to take in an amazing view of the city.
