  • Didn't try the food, mainly just played the games. Some classics, some new games. Well lit, good for socializing. Token cards were very convenient, keep an eye on their deals for different nights of the week to get a lot more game for your money.
  • Large arcade with a wide selection of games. Nice to see more than pinball and skeeball. Unfortunately a lot of the games were not working. They would take money and then not work, which is worse than it just being out of order. Games are a bit pricey and it's frustrating that you can't have alcohol by the games since many similar "beer arcades" are adult only and specifically have a holder to keep your drink. Cool place to wait for a movie next door though.
  • Service is usually slow and bad. They sit and talk at the bar. I always have to get up and tell them my order because they are talking amongst themselves instead of paying attention to their customers. There is one is particular that I think might even be a manager who is just really rude. They need a class in customer service. I am there often because my son likes to play the games. And I always tip over 20 percent. Because I am a server and kinda in hopes they see I am appreciative of their services and they straighten up the next time, nope- still rude and ungrateful. Hopefully they will get better. But they need to change. I have had Phil serve us a few times. And he is the oddball out. He is very attentive and kind. I do enjoy having him as a server and the male bartender, always wearing a backwards hat- he is pretty attentive and nice too. As for the rest, eeeks. Watch out. It's scary in there.
  • Cute arcade. Relatively inexpensive, and lots of fun. Great way to kill time and they have super amazing employees.
  • It's still here! Wow, it's been nearly a decade since I last visited Game Works. Needless to say, it's the same ole games with that same old smell and sticky floors. There's a certain appeal to those looking for a place to have a fun after work gathering. Decent food, a good sized bar and some old school games. This location is run down. It hasn't have a face lift in years. I needs to be revamped to make this venue relevant in the downtown core. They need to clean this place up a bit, rip the carpets up, redo the bathrooms, revamp the floor plan to make it more visually appealing to draw a newer generation of gamers and crowds of all ages. Outside of that, if you're looking for a gaming dive that serves decent food and old school games then you will find it here at Game Works.
