  • Really great tour company employing really great people. Excellent mount rainier tour
  • This was one of the last things we did on our tour of the west coast and it was a real highlight of a great holiday. Everything about our day was brilliant. The tour was perfectly run and our guide, Clare, was both knowledgable and personable. The weather was great and throughout the day we spent time at Hurricane Ridge and Lake Crescent hiking and enjoying the amazing views. The homemade lunch and snacks were also delicious. We would definitely recommend this tour to anyone!
  • We signed up for this trip in late May, where the weather was just starting to clear up consistently. I had planned on proposing to my future wife on this excursion, and had a planning discussion with our guide, Andrew, beforehand. He provided me with some ideas over where it could be performed, and assured me that it would not disrupt the experience for the rest of the group (there were 10 of us in total). On our drive to Mt. Rainier, Andrew provided us with commentary along the drive that was very interesting. As we were entering the park before the summer season, not all routes were open. Andrew stopped at some hiking trails along the way to Paradise (highest point that we reached), where he explained to us the different type of flora in the Pacific Northwest. To be honest, I normally have no interest in learning much about the life of trees, but after spending time looking at hundred year old trees that have trees within trees, I was very impressed. Andrew also took us to a few waterfalls along the way where the views were breathtaking. Upon reaching Paradise, Andrew prepared a lunch for us that was much better than you expected. It was a healthy gourmet lunch, with gluten and dairy free options (for those on dietary restrictions). He also brought us snow shoes, that allowed us to walk around in the snow while at Paradise. I highly recommend this trip, but also suggest that you call beforehand to see which routes of the park are open. If you are planning on visiting a glacier, you may only get to visit it during the summer.
  • We're from Miami and this was my family and young tween's first experience snowshoeing and hiking in the snow. It was the perfect way to start 2019. The team at Evergreen were incredibly knowledgeable and patient with our booking. Marty our super guide picked us up in the morning, we drove and he told us the history of the region, Native American tribes and volcano eruptions. He brought local coffee, tea and pastries. When we arrived it was the most amazing day with incredible views. Marty had packed all the necessary gear, he explained patiently and took us off the beaten path, he was aware of different fitness levels and catered to everyone's needs and desires. When we returned he had brought an incredible gourmet lunch for everyone including sensitivities and food allergies. It was one of our most favorite things to do together and HIGHLY recommend everyone do this.
  • What an excellent adventure! Our guide, Marissa, kept us active and engaged throughout the entire Mt. St. Helen's day trip. She was extremely personable and deeply passionate and knowledgeable about the outdoors and the PNW, sharing her own experiences and stories throughout the day. She also kept us organized and on schedule from start to finish. fed us a spectacular lunch, and gave everyone in our group an adequate amount of time to take in the spectacular views and appreciate the history of Mt. St. Helen's -- it is incredible! I highly recommend making this trip a priority if you have a day -- Evergreen Escapes did a wonderful job.
