One of my all time favorite beers comes from here. They make a lot of good ones though. We decided to try their taproom at Capital Hill for lunch and to get some Avatar (the favorite) on tap. Lunch wa... read more »
Already a huge fan of Elysian, but was really pumped to be able to belly up to the bar at the Capitol Hill spot. Bartender was great and the crowd was mellow. Also in an historic building, so the inte... read more »

The service is friendly and fast. In an opportunity to probe a sandwich of tuna then a hamburger and on the third occasion a Steak. The best steak but the highly recommended rest. Beers deserve a separate chapter because they are good quality, I I fell in love with the stout. Besides this located in a neighborhood picturesque with much activity night that is worth the penalty know.show original
1. Beer is mediocre. 2. Burger took 1 hour to get to me. 3. Burger is dry dry dry. They advertise it as Wagyu, but it's most definitely not. Not that I had high expectations or anything, but this was a brick burger. 4. I couldn't figure out why it was so bad--were they understaffed, just disorganized, unhappy people in the kitchen? These are all speculative, but overall, it was a bad experience. I'm glad I was with good friends, but no one has to wait that long. Politely asking follow-up didn't seem to make a difference. Will not go there again if I can.
Would give 3.5 stars if possible. Fish tacos were ok, poutine not bad. Others in our party had the tuna melt and Mac n cheese, both good according to them. Our waiter was friendly, but the kitchen got half of our orders wrong the first time around and the busser was distant. Beers were pretty good. Personally enjoyed the gose they had on tap.
I've always had a nice experience here. The food is pretty good no matter what you get, and you can get all of Elysian's beers on tap. There are bottle sales too, but you can't consume those on the premises.
Had the worst waiter I've ever met. He thought he saw me "stumble", assumed I was drunk even though I was completely sober, and refused to serve me anything, so me and my three friends walked out. This waiter was completely rude to me, embarrassed me in public, and I wouldn't wish this horrible experience on anyone. I didn't get the guy's name, but he's Caucasian, wears glasses, and part of a tattoo can be seen on his neck. Avoid Elysian, you'll be falsely judged and treated like dirt.
Superfuzz! Mutli-Growler Journey! Punkin Ale! Roasted Pumpkin Seeds tastes like punkin pie! Knock out! My server touched me with her hurt feelings and I love her forever bye bye.
