  • The Mac and cheese was great! The flagship sandwich could use some butter on the bread. It just tastes like toast and not a typical grilled cheese.
  • On another visit I stopped in and saw cheese being made, I tried the Mac n cheese which was delish and the cheese curds. On this recent short visit I bought the chees curds which were squeaky salty pi...  more »
  • Mac and Cheese this time! Spicy one. Was excellent! Easy place to grab something by yourself, get a seat with a view of the cheese making process, and relax. Really cute and great cheese anything!

  • Situated in the Pike Place tourist trap, this place is understandably very busy. Tourists love looking at the cheese-making process, and there is usually a tasty sample or two. This is a great stop for out-of-town guests to pick up a few small triangles of cheese to bring home as a tasty souvenir.* Facing the store, the line on the left side near the street is for food (sandwiches and macaroni & cheese), and going into the store on the right will lead you past the cheese-making window to the start of the cheese-buying line. I'm not a huge fan of their macaroni and cheese, but their classic cheddar or smoked cheddar is quite good. *I wouldn't recommend flying or driving with cheese if your trip will be hot, but you can take cheese in your carry on (it's a solid). Just pack it somewhere accessible because the density can trigger a search.
  • Beecher's flagship store, it's fun to watch their cheesemaking process live. If you're willing to drop $10 for a smallish portion, their Mac N' Cheese is really delicious. It's always really busy though (of course) so I'm glad they carry some of Beecher's cheeses at Costco. :)
  • More cheese please! If you love cheese, you'll love Beecher's - watching the cheese making process is fascinating and tasting the samples is just delicious. We couldn't travel with cheese so we opted for a flagship basil and tomato sandwich and it was delicious. The cheese was super tasty. A must try if you're in the market!
  • I went here for supper - had Dungeness crab and cheese sandwich with tomato soup. They were good. I also liked the couple of samples they had out for sampling. Doubt if I'll go back - too many other places to try. Oh and the seats are like dairy milk containers and you can look out on them making the cheese. Except the machinery was broken out of commission is whatever. The seats are better than sitting on the ground ..... Maybe, but not by much.
  • I was hooked the moment we took our Savor Seattle Tour (totally recommend, btw), and guide gave us samples of the mac and cheese and their flagship cheese with honey cracker. We immediately went back for an actual meal and got the mariachi mac and cheese and the grilled cheese. The mariachi was really good - had a bit of spice and flavor to it, but I liked the original more. Pure cheese and pasta. And really good cheese too. We also got the crab grilled cheese which was really good. The crab was fresh and the bread was toasted well. My all time fave was their flagship cheese which I bought some of to eat at home. I paired it with their honey cracker and was super addicted. Overall, if you like cheese, do yourself a favor and come here.
