Where to stay in Seattle

Famous for its architecture, Seattle's downtown area features a range of lodging options, including high-end hotels offering expensive rooms with views over Elliott Bay. Remember that despite their prices, many hotels in this waterfront district provide rather small rooms. If you need more space but don't want to break the bank, head out of downtown to some of the city's outlying neighborhoods. Seattle's diverse suburbs offer affordable bed and breakfasts, providing you with all the comforts of home and allowing you to see what local life is really like.

  • If you like cheese...grilled cheese...or Mac n' Cheese, it's worth the wait. I love cheese, a lot. And their grilled cheese and Mac n' Cheese are really really good. I also bought some cheese to bring...  more »
  • The staff didn't seem excited to make a sale. I bought the Mac and Cheese, but honestly preferred the one that Pike Chowder around the corner had to offer for a better price. Limited seating.  more »
  • Most delicious cheese ever. Every assortment and best of all, they allow you to sample most of them. This is helpful before you buy them so you know what you were getting. Perfect for bringing home !!  more »

  • If you want to truly know Seattle a trip to the Pike Place Market is a must and while you are there you must sample the most delicious of our local cheeses. These can be found at Beecher's. The cheese curds are little mouthfuls of joy that you can savor while watching the cheese be made and trying to decide which of the house made miracles you will talke home with you. I recommend all of the Flagship varietals and the Marco Polo is a personal favorite...but, if you really want to treat yourself get the mac n' cheese...just be prepared to need to get it again and again, it is amazing.
  • I was really excited to try their mac and cheese after looking at their homemade cheese making from the window. I thought this place is going to have that homemade taste but I was disappointed. We tried 2 big mac and cheese and the spicy version. Total of $23 seemed a bit expensive for take out food so it didn't feel it was worth the wait. The taste of the regular mac and cheese was OK but I couldn't really taste the cheese?! It was definitely heavy and creamy but not cheese. The spicy version was a little sad, it didn't have the flavours and kick I was expecting and corn presence just irritated me :( . Overall, not worth the wait and money. They did have free samples of their hard cheeses which were good, other than that I wouldn't return.
  • Probably by far the best cheese curds I've had! Their flagship is great too. You can try as many cheeses as you want to make up your mind on the ones that you like better
  • Everybody say go here for the best mac and cheese... it smells delicious, and does have a amazing taste.. noodles are perfectly cooked. BUT!!! The grainy cheese definetly ruined it. Definetly be prepared to pay.. Sm container $5.99, Lg $10.99.... which is worth it when "The best"... we purchased 2 small and a large to take home with us. So close to being 5* mac and cheese
  • I love this cheese. I buy it still to this day at my local grocery store here in Kansas. It's entrancing to watch them make the cheese and it seemed espeically deilcious buying it at the source.
