  • The market has amazing stands of all sorts and there are wonderful things to eat. The aisles are wide and the size isn't overwhelming. One of my faves!  more »
  • The Ballard Sunday Farmer’s Market is huge! It has three entrances and takes up part of two streets south of Market Street. There must be about 8 blocks total, with stalls back-to-back in the street. ...  more »

  • Lots of farm fresh vegetables, fruit and meat. Also fresh flowers, baked goods, cheeses, wood fired pizza, wine and brews. Some beautiful handmade jewelry and pottery plus several sidewalk musicians and entertainers. Very nice market.
  • Ballard Farmers market is one of the best farmers markets in Seattle. It has a huge selection of vendors all year round (it is most busy on a nice day though so if you want to shop without crowds go in January or February). You can find almost all of your weekly household shopping items there besides cleaning products and toiletries (but there is a soap vendor so you may even be able to get that).
  • Big-ish year-round farmer's market with an excellent selection of vendors. I'm a big fan of Harbor Herbalist teas and Loki salmon, and the fresh-made mini donuts are a treat.
  • Good people and dog watching. Lots of produce stalls to choose from as well as hot lunch options. Love the little skookum oyster sliders.
  • Great place to get produce. Not cheap and parking is always a challenge. Also consistently crowded. Totally worth it though. I like that it's open year round. Also dogs are allowed, which is nice for me.
