  • Nice museum located in beautiful park (don't miss the nearby water tower). The special exhibitions are always interesting. And it's free the 1st weekend of every month.
  • A decently sized museum where you can expect to spend at least an hour. I went during free museum week in the summer and there was an exhabit featuring Japanese Shibori.
  • Beautiful art deco architecture and exquisite exhibits! The Asian Art Museum provides a large breadth of historical artifacts from various regions, and modern day pieces ranging from digital prints, to sound recordings, to digital murals. It is a smaller museum, which makes the exhibits more digestible. Great for a weekend morning jaunt, followed by a stroll in gorgeous Volunteer Park afterwards. Definitely worth a visit!
  • Nice little museum with a small but beautiful collection in a great building in a fantastic park. A great way to spend a few hours
  • The Asian Museum will be undergoing a remodel and is now closed. The exhibition I attended was very interesting and the museum's collection of Asian art is worth seeing here.
