  • A Seattle getaway is never complete without a stop at Archie McPhees. We’ve been visiting this store from road trips from Canada since the 1990’s - and it never disappoints  more »

  • Spent 2 hours there with a friend. There is so much to look at! We had a great time! They have flavored gum, odd toys, fun gadgets, and more. It's the best place to find a funny and unique gift. The staff was fun to interact with and enjoyed the silly things we did. Kids and adults can have a good time here :)
  • This place is awesome. I thought it was a comic book. It's not at all. Come with quarters for the fortune teller and the Easter island head. A great novelty shop to explore.
  • Show your ID on your birthday for a free birthday present! Also, you can find weird useless items here, but they also have some random hardware and vinyl upholstery in the back. It's also a good place for costume stuff outside of Halloween season.
  • Wacky store. Great novelty items. Good selection. Have shopped them online so had to visit the location. Not disappointed
  • one can spend hours in here and never see it all. the staff is ALWAYS friendly and courteous. so fun and entertaining even if you were to buy nothing , but you always find something, always. luv this store........for so many reasons.

Where to stay in Seattle

Famous for its architecture, Seattle's downtown area features a range of lodging options, including high-end hotels offering expensive rooms with views over Elliott Bay. Remember that despite their prices, many hotels in this waterfront district provide rather small rooms. If you need more space but don't want to break the bank, head out of downtown to some of the city's outlying neighborhoods. Seattle's diverse suburbs offer affordable bed and breakfasts, providing you with all the comforts of home and allowing you to see what local life is really like.
