Alki Beach, Seattle

4.5
Beach · Hidden Gem · Nature / Park
View the city skyline, glimpse orcas and sea lions offshore, and play beach volleyball at Alki Beach. Rent kayaks and paddleboards, ride a bike down the paved path, and roller-skate while you take in the views of the nearby mountain ranges. Eat and drink at one of the many nearby restaurants, or pack food to eat at the picnic tables. Street parking is available nearby, but it fills quickly--consider taking the ferry from the city and then the free shuttle bus to the beach instead. • Lighting was captivating in Alki over looking the city scape! Awesome view!
  • You can see Seattle skyline from here. Its quite beautiful . Great for pictures
  • My cousin used to live in Alki, and we would go to the beach all the time. Too bad they moved, so we rarely go there. :( But it's a nice beach.
  • Gorgeous beach, lovely neighborhoods nearby. Fabulous view of Space Needle from beach.
  • Beautiful little "beach town" people are really friendly here. There's real sand, but the water is pretty cold even in summer.
