  • Played the black horse course and it's a challenge. The green complexes were difficult for the first timer and not too. Any gimmes. Well worth the price/trip  more »
  • It was priced reasonably for what you got. Have a good selection of food all very tasty. I would recommend it for all holiday buffets.  more »
  • This year we decided to have Thanksgiving out so we chose the Bayonet Black Horse ! And boy was it a great choice! Honestly, it was one of the best buffets we've ever had! The service was outstanding ...  more »
  • This is so far my favorite golf course. It is the toughest course I have played. Every hole has drastic elevation changes from the tee box to the green. The greens are fast and not a one is flat. Very challenging course.
  • Never crowded with decent food beer on tap and a full bar you can't beat this secluded golf course on former Fort Ord. Great lunch options small menu but delicious food and huge portions. Food is standard Golf Course Pub like fare with Burgers, sandwiches, and fries, and they also serve breakfast. I have never tried the breakfast but go there often for lunch and have been to their holiday brunch meals. The lunch is good but not the best I've ever had however the price and the quiet atmosphere is well worth it all. Beautiful views of the Monterey Bay outdoor seating.
  • Played Black Horse today. The fairways and greens are in GREAT shape. Bunkers were racked. My early tee time put the sun directly in our face on Hole 1, lost ball. You could not find a better day to play.
  • Beautiful course and area. Course and range are great. Staff and restaurants are great too...
  • There are two courses here and both are well done and have their challenges. The clubhouse is small because it used to be military and then opened to the public. Definitely a must and there is also a huge disc golf tourney held here once a year.
