  • We proceeded to the 1st tee where the starter was giving 'the talk' to the four some ahead of us. Staying a bit behind, we didn't hear it. When it came time for us to tee off, he was nowhere in sight;...  more »
  • My family golfs but I'm just an annual (holiday) golfer; a good athlete (tennis is my game) but inconsistent on the links. I've played on a lot of the better courses in Scottsdale, all of the Desert M...  more »

  • It would be difficult for me to review the grill because the service was amazingly bad. There was absolutely NO service! The hostess seated us...but not one wait staff acknowledged or served us. We left after 25 minutes. The Twisted Lizard was pleased to serve us. The house is packed AND they have live music
  • McDowell Mountain Golf Club nestles in the foothills of the McDowell Mountains. This long ribbon-like golf course is not unlike many of the original Scottish links layouts on which golf was first played. Running alongside much of the course, just 100 or so yards away, is the Hayden-Rhodes Aqueduct, part of the impressive Central Arizona Project that diverts water from the Colorado River at Lake Havasu and distributes it to many parts of central Arizona - Phoenix and Tucson included.
  • Beautiful challenging course. Wish women's tee box is more reasonable and actually caters to our needs. White is overly demanding on the par 4s while red is too short at less than 5,000 yds.
  • This is a nice course and in great condition! The price is good throughout the year. There is one ranger that isn't the nicest guy (may have been a bad day), but would go here again.
  • After golfing18 holes we stopped at the grill for dinner. After sitting for 25 minutes we still had not been greeted by anyone for any level of service it was awful we ended up leaving. On the way out we asked to speak to the manager and got the feeling she could have cared less. Awful!!!!!
