  • Went to this place for the first time ever and I️ was super impressed. Really nice butterfly garden with thousands of them flying everywhere. This place is kid friendly for sure. You have so many chances to take really good pictures of these butterflies that are from all around the world. Along with the garden you get to spend a little bit of time seeing some reptiles and some fish as well. I️ would really recommend checking out this place if you are in the Scottsdale area.
  • Butterfly Wonderland is a wonderful experience. I think it is a bit pricey but it was worth it to see the smile and excitement of my daughter. At 2 yrs old she loved it so much and remembered the experience that for her 3rd birthday asked what she wanted to do she choose Butterfly Wonderland and it was as if it was her 1st time and surprisingly she knew how to get there. But also within the plaza there there are restaurants and other activities kids can enjoy.
  • Great visit! 3D movie was fantastic about the migration of butterflies. Very fascinating. After that you go to an area where they have dozens of cocoons to watch and some newly hatched butterflies. Then you go to the conservatory where there are tons of butterflies flying around. Make sure to watch your step! It's very humid inside but it felt good. Plus there is an extra reptile and aquatic area as a bonus.
  • This place is pretty magical but it does have a few flaws. Rather than going straight to the butterflies you watch a movie, and thankfully I was able to skip it since I'd already seen it at the science center. It seems like you're allowed to hang around the butterflies for a while, as long as you aren't trying to touch them. After the butterflies is a small beetle, frog, snake, and fish exhibit next to their cafe. If you want a medalian they're $5 for 1 or $10 for 3, a good gift but it only accepts cash for the 1 and card for the 3. Once you pass there's the gift shop where you can purchase the photo you took in the beginning for $24 or so as a booklet, by far those are the two more worthy souvenirs. The rest is very expensive. Overall a fun place to come and maybe worth the annual pass for butterfly lovers.
  • I was so excited to see that this place was coming to town. It won't disappoint. I thought it was interesting to learn facts about the butterflies. The only thing that was a shock, was the entrance fee. Thankfully I only have 1 child. It would be unfortunate for people with several children. I would recommend you visit if your in town.
