Wander the rainforest-inspired pavilion--one of the largest in the country--and you'll see thousands of butterflies flitting around. • A place for delight, reflection and education. Loved the Monarch butterfly 3D movie - my first 3D experience. So well done that I thought I could just reach out and catch a butterfly!
  • This is a beautiful Way to observe how butterflies are born and how they live and what they enjoy doing. I disagree with anyone who wants to bring small children as the butterflies are very delicate a...  more »

  • Not the most affordable family outing, but it is easy to spend a couple of hours here. Really enjoyed the 3D video they show you before you enter the sanctuary as it was very informative and interesting. Beautiful and well maintained. Awesome field trip spot, too!
  • We brought our family to this place to have a good time. We were having a great time enjoying the butterflies ,and just taking pictures we weren't touching them or anything and the lady with the short dark hair that was working there today scolded us that they can't touch our skin...not instructing us ...scolded us like we were children then we started walking around again and she followed us which is odd..and continued to talk rudely to us and we weren't doing anything but taking pictures. We literally felt harassed. Management needs to teach there employees to treat customers kindly. I won't be coming back to this place !!!
  • We went with the kids to there and we really enjoyed it! But I had two big problems there: It's very expensive for a family! I spent about 70 bucks for for one adult and 2 children to the regular program and for the mirror maze! A blonde hair worker lady came and started scolded my son because he had a butterfly on his hand. My son tried to explain he just tried to saved from the floor the butterfly but the lady didn't care. She just repeated he didn't have to touch them and she started to follow him! It's was really annoying!
  • My 3.5 year old had a BLAST here. Before you go in, you get to learn about butterflies and their life cycle, and then you see a bunch of butterflies emerging from their chrysalises (and moths too!) The atrium is huge, and clean, and there're just butterflies EVERYWHERE. In the middle is a little koi fish pond. It's just a really neat place to be. My favorite was the butterfly with the clear see-through wings. We will definitely be attending again.
  • This place was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! My family and I had the time of our life's here with all the detailed information about the butterflies and actually watching a butterfly come to be out of its cacoon. I highly recommend butterfly wonderland to anyone wanting to get away for a bit it's definitely worth it and you will have a guaranteed blast! Prices for admission a reasonably priced but gift shop is a bit over priced.
