  • We stayed in cabin 3 (cabins are numbered 1-8). It's a very nice park located at the convergence of 2 rivers: Dan River & Staunton River into Kerr Lake. It's on the small side and we visited out of season (February). On the plus side we basically had the whole park to ourselves! Overcast the whole time so i didn't get to experience the Dark Sky effect.😞 Note: though the cabins are located right on the lake there is NO access to the lake from the cabins, especially during greener seasons! There is rather long drive into town but well worth trip to check out Bondurant Brothers Distillery in Chase City!👍
  • Love this park! Pool is fantastic, trails are amazing, camping is great. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable and we love the visitors center and gift shop.
  • Great fishing place, fun place for families with kids park has great staff who keep the park clean.
  • It's a great place to take the family. Their cabins are really nice, great tent camping and trailer sites. The large swimming pool and slide is great family fun, passes for the pool are included if you are camping at the park. They have Rivers on both sides of the park so plenty of fishing, and a couple of good boat launch locations. They have a great field for star watching and a large frisbee golf course. The trails go along the water and are easy to follow.
  • The park is beautiful and the park staff are over the top. Just fantastic!
