Bowcraft Amusement Park or Bowcraft Playland is a small amusement park located on U.S. Route 22 West in Scotch Plains, New Jersey. Catering to families, it contains rides appropriate for both children and adults. Bowcraft Amusement Park is open weekends from May through October and daily June through Labor Day.

The park's history dates back to 1946, when an archery and skiing enthusiast named Ted Miller opened a small archery and ski equipment store, complete with a small ski slope on-site, and named it Bowcraft Park.

In the 1980s, the park included a miniature golf course, which was eventually removed to make room for an overall expansion of both the park itself and the parking area.

The park offers a choice between purchasing tickets for individual rides, or an all-inclusive \"Fun-Pass\" which gives the ticket holder unlimited riding.

  • This may be the last year for this old-school amusement park. Unlimited pass works for a whole weekend, and that could be a bargain if it's convenient for you. Lots of kiddie rides, some for older kids. Fun!
  • Always had a good time here with the kids during the summer. The unlimited ride deal during the summer 4-8, makes up for me paying to watch them.
  • So happy this place is still around. Came here as a child and now I get to bring my whole family. Great way to spend a day with the kids!
  • What a Horrible experience. Workers are so rude especially the manager. 1- I just don't understand why do adults have to pay if this is a kids amusement park and especially for the amount of rides the tickets are too expensive it's not worth it. 2-this is not six flags is made for kids my son is 6 years old and because of the height requirement he couldn't get in on half of the rides which is disappointing. So before you go in make sure you ask what's the height requirement before you pay and basically wasting your money.
  • If you want a good deal, this is the place every ticket a dollar!!!! My kids love this place
