Trexler Nature Preserve Reviews
The Preserve is both on the way, and exiting the Lehigh Valley Zoo. We have been going there since I was a child to see the bison and elk. Most exciting was always driving through the creek at the for... more »
Took a 3 mile walk here this past weekend and son ran over 4 miles. Great place to enjoy the view and get some exercise. Love it and plan to go back!! more »
This is a great area to visit. Drive across the creek, look the views, and check out the elk and bison. Combined with a stop at the Lehigh Valley Zoo and a picnic and wade at the creek, it makes a gre... more »
Nice for hiking and the wild animals in the enclosure are a nice touch. Out in the open with little tree cover so not great on a hot day. I think we did about 8 miles. Parking lot is not huge but both times I have been here parking was not an issue. Place would be nicer with some nice river or lake but that is always just my personal preference with parks.
Went to see their Christmas lights at the Zoo had a very great time. Even though most of the animals were either asleep or not out. I understand why they weren't out seeing how it was to cold for a lot of them. My family still had fun roasting marshmallows and seeing all the fun festive lights they had up. If you are in the area take the time to check this place out preferably during the day when the animals will be out and about.
This was an amazing experience although it was to cold for the animals to be put the Christmas light show was just simply perfect it was as if I was walking into a Christmas light Extravaganza! The kids loved it and npot o l y that but toys at the end for the adults and kids to play with. Big oversized toys and interactive objects that are perfect for pictures. What was just simply delightful and perfect for my first Christmas light village.
We visit the park at night for the light show. Awesome light show. Plenty of propane heaters and couple fire pits thru out the park to keep you warm.
Went for the Christmas show and it was closed. No signs. We called and they said they'd be open. Website said open. We drove an hour and a half. Several others there in the same boat to. Disgraceful!
