  • The zoo is not very large which is perfect for small children. It takes about two hours to make a complete round of the zoo. The premises are clean, the prices are fair and there is some shade and sea...  more »
  • Only zoo within miles so it's worth taking a look. It's big enough to be able to see everything in an hour or two, but not too overwhelming for small legs. The giraffe is the highlight.  more »
  • We took 83 yr old mom in a wheel chair on the 4th of July....we're pleased to see that admission was only $4.00 for the 4th! Otherwise, it's a hefty price for the small amount of time it takes to get ...  more »
  • Nice, uncrowded zoo for when you don't wanna travel far from Lehigh valley. Upon arriving there was a well made professional sign for a special summer event involving margaritas, beer and burgers today.a nice surprise i was pumped... until we found gift shop closed, food shop closed and nothing relating to the sign. this was around 4pm. Felt sorry for the giraffe who appeared to want to go inside
  • Wonderful little zoo. This is a great place to take younger children to be kind of a starter zoo or a practice run before jumping into a bigger zoo like philadelphia zoo. Very friendly staff and very clean park and facilities after a couple hours in the zoo also try a picnic down behind the zoo at Jordan creek. It's a beautiful clean creek with plenty of shallow areas for the little ones to splash and play.
  • Some folks dislike zoos, but you won't find too much to fault here. Many, if not most, animals are rescues who can't be released. It's a small zoo on a lovely preserve. They take good care of their creatures (minus the axolotl and siren who could really benefit from bigger tanks, but maybe they do have a bigger space when closed?). The folks who do the animal encounters are really knowledgeable and take time to answer your questions.
  • I was so saddened to hear about the death of your young giraffe. I know the staff did a lot of preparation and spent a lot of funds to achieve your goals. I can only imagine how you are feeling from this terrble loss. But hold your heads high and move forward. Its a great zoo and it will recover.
  • Was a great experience for my family. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the different types of animals. We will definitely make the trip back.
