  • We were supposed to be on a cruise but because of a hurricane, we ended up in Chicago. Thanks to the Legoland Discovery Center, the kids did not mind missing Disney at all. We LOVED the place and even...  read more »

  • They are cramming people in this place at almost $20/head... why can't they fix the broken crap and give it a good cleaning? Something nasty growing up the mirrors in the ladies room and dirty ... had just opened too. The Kingdom ride broke while we were on it. Said they had to restart it but just shoved us out the exit without letting us jump back in line or anything. "Factory tour" gimmicky with some lame excuse to cover up that part of it was broken. The "build your car" did not have enough wheels for all the kids being shoved through there to build anything. My 8 year old got frustrated and walked away. My 6 year old was too intimidated by the pushy adults trying to scramble for pieces and walked away disappointed. The 3D glasses were dirty and spotted in the movie. Are these cleaned at all?? I'm only giving this 2 stars because my 6 year old son LOVES legos and overall had fun. My 8 year old son was disappointed and frustrated. Will never come back. Not worth the $ at all.
  • This lego land is way too smaller than the one in CA. And the maintenance level is kind of low. 1st day I visited there, A blackout happened. The whole facility was closed and visitors were evacuated. 2nd day I came back again, the elevator didn't work. Don't waste your time watching 4D movie. The 3d glasses don't work at all. All you can see is blurry pic.
  • Overall: It was a fun thing to do with the family. Our kids (ages 7 & 9) enjoyed it (though they would have had just as much fun buying a set of Legos and building them at home). Ticket prices are not bad. Not many food items to choose from, and what is here is really overpriced. We were not disappointed with the experience, but I don't think we would do this again (at least not at this one). Our experience: - Walked through room with display of Chicago themed Lego exhibits. - Moved to room of Jungle themed Lego exhibits. - Entered room with premade skyscrapers and buckets of Legos for the kids to add on their own ideas. - Next was a room with a shooter game (2 minute ride). Went upstairs to Lego academy exhibit. Kids had fun learning to build a small item. - Lego factory tour was a single room with displays that explain how they melt, mold and cool plastic to make Legos (even the kids were disappointed with this one). - Next was a 4D movie (exactly what you'd expect, if you've ever been to one before). - The kids spent the remainder of time in the play area where you could build with Legos, ride a ride or climb on a playground. - Food choices were limited and a bit overpriced (like a plain turkey sandwich with the crust cut off for $8 dollars). Pros: - 5-10 neat Lego exhibits - Lego themed - can kill hours building with Legos in the play areas. - exhibits like 4D movie, Lego academy, and 2 rides were included with ticket. Cons: - no reentry. This forces you to buy their food if you plan on staying all day. - "factory tour" is not a factory tour. It is a 5 minute explanation on how Legos are made of melted plastic.
  • I prefer not to recommend for any body 1. It is not worth it for the price 2. Less activities only 5 points it is very silly 3. They boosting too much.. over the counter sell limited..... tickets we bought online they do to avoid taxes 4. Employees super creepy 5. Never ever good for kids under age 2 6. Not a good place for birthday parties
  • Spend your money else where you won't regret it. It's literally a corner, Online they make it look like its this nice huge place and it's packed and crowded with people and kids who don't pay attention. The baby area was disgusting, The pad that surrounded the blocks was horribly soiled. They don't have anyone to make sure the water from the water table is mopped up or even controlled their was this huge puddle trailing from the water all over the floor, no caution signs. It looks like nothing has ever been cleaned since they opened. I can't believe they want $18 a person. Lego needs to get undercover boss into this store because whoever owns this store should be ashamed.
