After taking a tour of SCAD. We were able to visit the museum for free. It is small yet with interesting exhibits. The building is beautiful with a modern feel. Although there were SCAD students to an...  more »

The student guides a very helpful and informative. The exhibits are brilliant-- very original and forward-thinking. Excellent museum!

This museum was quite impressive. Loved seeing the exhibits and learning what SCAD has contributed to this area.

Fantastic museum! The best part are the students throughout the building who will tell you all sorts of things about the exhibits-- don't miss interacting with them. What a treat!

As a former student, the SCAD Museum had a lot of build up that I never really saw a follow through for. The building itself is definitely beautiful, still trying to understand the atrium though. I just finding myself wishing for more in terms of the actual exhibits. The museum also puts the students in a bit of a predicament because the hours when the museum is closed, the courtyard is as well. This courtyard is attached to a SCAD 24 hour academic building, that without access to the courtyard, loses a major entrance and exit. I really enjoyed the Black Dress exhibit and wish that the museum could include more enticing collections like that one. I give the museum a higher vote just in the hopes that it will start including more exhibits like this. I would also love if the museum were to have a SCAD student collection on display at all times, because I feel like if people wish to visit a SCAD Museum, we should showcase what we've got right under our noses on our own campus.

What it lacks in size is made up for by amazing exhibits & staff!
