A well-known area for shopping and dining, the district also serves as the area’s cultural hub, known for its art and music. • October was the perfect time of year to visit. Weather was perfect, the city is beautiful. Shopping, sight seeing and the food was excellent.

  • Only was here for a day and fell in love with the history, architecture, and southern style of this city. Really good food all around. Take the 90 minute tour bus....well worth it. I will be back.
  • This was our third trio and there is always something new to see. We usually use okd time trolly tours but if you can get into a parking garage, try venturing out on your own at the Slovannah pace.
  • Beautiful part of Savannah. So much history and easy to spend all day wondering around checking out all the squares. The architecture is amazing and there is a good mix of new and old - the new doesn't even look new. It looks as though it has been there for hundreds of years. So much to see, do, eat, and shop! Amazing historic district.
  • Hot in the summer! Bring water. Tours are expensive but are a must. You learn a lot and can get off and on the tour buses.
  • Enjoyed our couple days here-saw a lot, took the Old Town Trolley two days, loved the accessibility of on/off at 15 different locations. Learned a lot of the history of the town, enjoyed several restaurants (especially loved Wee Willies and their marguerite's) plus the shops are great. Our favorite tour guide was Ruben, great personality and lots of info
  • Tour bus options offer a great experience. Be sure to check Groupon for deals. We found 5 that saved our family a bunch. Walk around and enjoy the many park's and trees.
