  • I'm sure we can all pick out our favorite squares in Savannah, and Monterey is definitely one of mine. Beautiful square with a beautiful monument in a very accessible part of the city.
  • Note the marble tomb next to the Pulaski monument. It is believed to be the final resting place where the remains of brigadier general Casimir Pulaski are laid to rest.
  • great spot for a sit. I dub thee "Polish square" in honor of pulaski.
  • Classic Savannah square. Statue and plaques will tell you all about the square's history and other tidbits about Savannah.
  • Very lovely square in Savannah's historic district. The trees here are beautiful and lend a majesty to the area. The square is surrounded by great examples of Southern architecture. Very nice monument in the center as well.
  • Pulaski monument is not in pulaski square.
