  • Take a break during your stay in Savannah in the shade and enjoy the atmosphere. A genuine Southern experience.  more »
  • I believe I was walking in circles - I did find another "square" but it wasn't "Chippewa"... And even if I did find it the "Forrest Gump" bench I hear is gone - So not a total loss...  more »

  • All the squares around here are so pretty. I love the houses and businesses mixed into each sqaure. Savannah is a pretty cool spot to visit. There are also benches here to relax under the pretty trees.
  • This is a nice little park for locals who want to get some fresh air or stretch their legs. It's quite and peaceful. We visited because we'd read that the bench from Forest Gump was here, but it's been removed and placed in a museum so there's nothing to see or do here. Fine for a peaceful stroll, but not worth going out of your way for.
  • Trying to find the bench where Forrest Gump sat was an experience. A very friendly local explained everything in detail. The bench was just a prop in the movie and did not really exist. It had since been moved to a museum. A nice, little park with friendly locals!
  • I go here every day for lunch. So peaceful. Sometimes there will be people playing their guitars or violins and its definitely a square to visit!
  • All the parks in savannah are beautiful. I would recommend just walking through the town to see them all.
