  • We took the self-guided tour, which I didn’t mind at all. It was interesting whether you just enjoy history, or architecture or the outdoors! Can’t wait to go back for the house tour!

  • Our tour guide was fantastic. He knew so much history of the farm and the family that lived there. Beautiful, interesting place. Highly recommend!

  • Home of the future from the late 1800's! This is a truly beautiful and Captivating house built by Captain Nicholas who had some pretty creative ways to heat and cool the home without electricity. JT our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and pleasant. The house had 3 owners and the third was a doctor who added a dairy farm which is also pretty incredible for that time period. This is a must see for everyone. Very rich with history.
  • Beautiful setting, house and interesting to hear the history of the place. A lot of old tools, era correct furniture and working farm in the premises. Worth the stop, but the guided tour was the best way to get the history.
  • It was so beautiful here! As soon as we walked in to the welcome center we were warmly greeted and given some great information about the history of the farm. It was $6 a person for a self guided tour but it’s worth every penny. There were so many really neat things to see and lots of informational signs all around the place.
  • The lady (Amy) who was working in the welcome center on Sunday was the best! She was very friendly and knew all about the area. The gift shop has a lot of nice things. The grounds are accessible. Nice site with a walking trail.
  • We attended the Victorian Christmas at the Hardman House and loved everything about the visit! It was absolutely beautiful! We rode to the house by horse and carriage, went on a tour thru time, learned of the history, meet Santa and Mrs. Clause, enjoyed cookies, hot chocolate and carols. Definitely recommend at Christmas but I would also return throughout the year as they have events and tours throughout the year!
