  • Spectacular views when clear and sunny and because it was late afternoon in the middle of the week, there was tons of parking where there is usually none on the weekends. Great for photo ops  more »
  • Vista point was amazing & the view of the Golden Gate Bridge was amazing too!though it was windy we enjoyed a lot!  more »
  • After crossing the Golden Gate to the north the vista point provides a great spot to look back at the Golden Gate Bridge and the City. Don't miss the statue of the Lone Sailor.  more »

  • Amazing views!! Amazing views if it is not foggy. Almost no parking. Tour buses drive like the are still on the freeway. Tour buses take up a lot of parking spots. Walking from your parking spot to the views is taking your life in your hands from the traffic and the road raging drivers looking for parking. I'm a local, I pay taxes and the crazy expensive bridge toll. The least that could be done is provide some safe parking here.
  • Fun spot to see the bridge and SF in the background. Drove over for a few minutes to take photos of the famous landmark. Wasn't much traffic on the way and the poll's prices are ok although I presume Americans and some people may find it expensive. Parking is free and I visited during a quieter period so didn't have any trouble finding a space. Excellent photo potential! Great for tourists 🌁
  • More great views of the bay and of course the bridge. You will also find the lone sailor monument and some restrooms here. If you have time, then cross the road and make your way up the hill to Golden Gate View Point for an even better view. Once you've done all that walking though you'll probably be feeling tired or just can't be bothered to walk all the way back across the bridge. Then just jump on one of the sightseeing busses behind the restrooms at vista point and if you're lucky they won't ask you for tickets and you'll get yourself a free ride :)
  • It's the view known around the world, you'll recognize the iconic shot of the Golden Gate Bridge immediately. From the Oakland bridge and Skyline to Alcatraz and Angel Island and San Francisco skyline out to the ocean... this is just one outstanding View! Warning: it can get overflowing with visitors on busy days, so be prepared to have to go all the way around to Sausalito when you have to drive by it. I recommend going up the hill on the other side instead and going to the headlands, likely it'll be crowded too but sooner or later you'll find a good spot on that road and of course the other iconic View looking down on the Golden Gate Bridge and the city. You gotta do it at least once.
  • Great view! But it was absolutely freezing due to the winds. Also the toll for the bridge is not cheap so don't just make the trip on this side of this one location and make sure you have more things planned here.
