  • We were taken to the the north vista point over the Bridge on the way to Sausalito by our Uber driver but we were still able to take pretty good pictures although I’m told the south point is better.  more »
  • Several points of view are on the same ridge to the left of the bridge when you come to SF. The view is panoramic and bird's-eye on throughout the city. But beware of the world, because the small parking lots are fast full (we have to turn paths 1 days and come back early the next day).

  • We can surely recommend to take the way up to the mountain and have this superb view of San Francisco Bay, specially it will be a sunny day  more »

  • Perfect picture spot to take pics of the bridge & the bay from Sausalito side. Easily accessible by bus or taxi. We went in the morning but if you plan your visit, you can watch the sunset from here and it would be spectacular (provided there is no fog). Anyone vising SF, should spend a day in Sausalito. It is quite different from the hustle and bustle of SF.
  • You have an awesome view of the skyline of SF and the Golden Gate Bridge in the foreground. Parking is a pain. Try the 3 spots they are available on the road. I came to hike and the roads away from the tourists were almost lonely. If you have time you can visit in a quick tour to the neighborhood of Sausalito.
  • It is only good for parking. You cant get a good view of the bridge from here. If you want to park your car somewhere close to the golden gate bridge, i suggest this place. You have plenty of facilities there. I think the bus tour operators also drop you here as it is easily accessible. For parking you have to wait in queue. It will be heavily crowded. I took almost 30 minutes to find a parking spot. But you will het a good view of the water body and the city from here.
  • One of the better places to take pictures at. When we were there it was construction going on... But other than that it's very beautiful at night. Didn't see in the daytime. The lights across the city are gorgeous.
  • Gotta go to this place if you're visiting San Francisco!! Traffic might be a pain depending on the time of the day or time of the year, but well worth the ride across the bridge and sing the beautiful vista with the City of San Francisco spread in the background. You can go to both the vista locations on the northbound and southbound Lanes of US 101 without actually crossing the bridge twice. I think the southbound side has a better view.
