  • This is the first vista point where you on the other side of the golden gate bridge from San Francisco along ride. Beautiful scenic views of San Francisco, the bridge and the Bay. It is awfully pressure (when we were there last September).

  • The most exciting thing to go to San Francisco is take the photo with the view of the Golden Gate. The place is cute, not great for parking. Always full of friendly people. Mandatory stop

  • The viewpoint is located on the north end of the Golden Gate Bridge. IT IS ONLY ACCESSABLE VIA THE NORTHBOUND 101. There is ample parking available. There are also public restrooms located here. In ad...  read more »
  • we were able to visit this spot from one of our tour buses, but it is easy to get to / park if you have a car. The Views are spectacular. Plenty of space to get some great shots, and it is patrolled by the police, so we felt safe. The best thing I can recommend is get a good camera, dont rush, and wait for the right light conditions to snap that shot of the bridge and the city to the left.
  • Unreal views, easily accessible for abled bodied people as terrain is uneven and unpaved yet manageable. Went in the early afternoon and it was very sparsely populated - experiencing the full 360 panorama like this is incredible. Would recommended for couples/small families (
  • WOW I can't believe it took me this long to make it out this way. As if compensate (the city coffers, that is) for this atrocity, my GPS directed us on our way back from Marin to first cross the Golden Gate Bridge, do a U-turn, and cross the bridge again to get to Vista Point. Yup, double toll, since I live in the city. Thanks, GPS. But, despite that slight, still totally worth it. Historically a fan of checking out the GGB from Fort Mason, or going up to Twin Peaks to get a view of both the bridge(s) and the city, Vista Point offers a completely different ground-level view of the bridge and entire northern coastline of the city. Absolutely better than the view from Fort Mason, though a little less directly comparable to Twin Peaks: that one comes down more to a matter of personal preference. Though, on one comparable point, while both are about equally windy (on a good day), Vista Point was noticeably less chilly. ***Accessibility Info*** Venue - Well, I mean, it's really just a giant parking lot, so accessibility isn't too relevant here. That said, the sightseeing binoculars mounted along the walls were actually around sitting height, surprisingly. Bathroom - I don't seem to recall any public pay ones here, whereas the other scenic points definitely had some civilized relief stations.
  • Probably one of best vista points for golden gate bridge. Gets very windy generally. Note: it is a bad idea to call uber or lyft from here to the city. You might as well walk across the bridge and then book one
  • What a view of the GG Bridge and the city, particularly on a clear day. Use it as a launch point to walk the bridge. You will not regret it.
