  • I'm a bit of a geek, admittedly, but I love the Bay model. It's a quick trip over from the City on the ferry and then a relatively short walk from the ferry terminal. Another short walk to Fish for a ...  more »

  • Interesting model of the San Francisco bay and delta area tides. The model is the size of 2 football fields and every 15 minutes or so goes from high to low tide and back again. They also have a small display about the Marinship shipyard that was there in about 1942. Interesting short film and artifacts.
  • This is a wonderful place for exploration and education. Bring your children here for an education they will love. Lots of interactive stations that will keep the most jaded engaged. There is no charge for entry, although they do ask for donations.
  • Amazing visual history of the bay area. Hidden gem for civil engineering geeks.
  • Free, informative, dated. The staff is wonderful, their effort was impressive.
  • The staff greeted me at the door and gave me a amazing history lesson! Gave me a pamphlet to help explain what I would looking at inside the exhibit. They even had a theater with a cool show. This place has some important history for the bay area and I strongly encourage people to stop and visit this fun interactive spot : )
