  • The Tower of History really isn't much of an attraction. You are taken up to an observation point and it has listed the boats, homes, etc in the area and you can view them from above. I was expecting ...  more »

  • The view is truly breath taking. Well it might also be the 292 steps. (There's an elevator) Bad part is that it's not wheelchair accessible.
  • Pretty amazing view. Not expensive, nice people and worth a stop
  • Excellent views and great history!
  • Nice veiws, a little history.
  • Definitely worth the price of admission! 210 feet above Sault Saint Marie. With a 360- degree view. How could you go wrong. This is a photographers dream! You have views of the Soo Locks, the International Bridge, all of the historic Sault Saint Marie and picturesque Canadian. There is a very small Native American culture museum and a video of early history of the area. Small exhibits on local history, displaying local artifacts from the Ojibwa culture. $7. is all it cost. Cheaper then a meal at McDonald's. I think people don't take in consideration how much it cost to maintain a structure like this. Just like with any business in the U.P., they have a very short time to make money. Most business in the U.P. tell me that they only make money 4 months out of the year. With that being said, I'll definitely send a little more so the attractions are still there when I come back the next year and not shut down do to a lack of funds.
