  • The tower has a very small museum and an outstanding view at the top of the tower. We were lucky and got to see a ship pass into and out of the locks. We visited the area in late October and the tree ...  more »

  • The views from the top were nice. The exhibits were OK. I was not really impressed and think it's overpriced.

  • Awesome view of the city. Can watch ships, boats, airplanes from here very well. Able to see almost every landmark in the area from here.
  • Definitely worth the price of admission! 210 feet above Sault Saint Marie. With a 360- degree view. How could you go wrong. This is a photographers dream! You have views of the Soo Locks, the International Bridge, all of the historic Sault Saint Marie and picturesque Canadian. There is a very small Native American culture museum and a video of early history of the area. Small exhibits on local history, displaying local artifacts from the Ojibwa culture. $7. is all it cost. Cheaper then a meal at McDonald's. I think people don't take in consideration how much it cost to maintain a structure like this. Just like with any business in the U.P., they have a very short time to make money. Most business in the U.P. tell me that they only make money 4 months out of the year. With that being said, I'll definitely send a little more so the attractions are still there when I come back the next year and not shut down do to a lack of funds.
  • Great views and history lesson.
  • Amazing historical location
  • we took the tour and just loved it . when we were at the top of the tower we watched a long boat go thru the locks and it was a great perspective to view it from .I would encourage you to go there on a windy day . The wind at the top of the tower can be unreal . They do have places to view the locks without going into the wind but why bother .Enjoy the breeze .
