  • It is worth a visit, a nice lighthouse with nice staff/volunteers. With a lot of stairs to the top but with nice views. Nice pictures in different lights from inside but also from outside it.
  • This was a really neat experience visiting this lighthouse. It was a rainy day, but that didn't stop our family exploring! The shoreline is beautiful, and you can see Canada as well! You can go up to ...  more »
  • This is a large lighthouse, compared to many of my lighthouse visits. Very easy to find, minimal walking, friendly staff (volunteers), and tours. Very photogenic scene. The stone wall makes this light...  more »

  • Light Houses are aids to Navagation but only to thoes who pay attention. While I was photographing this light house the 858-foot Roger Blough, carrying a load of iron ore pellets from the Duluth-Superior harbor to the lower Great Lakes, grounded on a reef in far eastern Lake Superior. The ship became stuck as it attempted to pass another vessel at the end of Whitefish Bay, where the lake narrows into the St. Mary's River.
  • Nice small light house which was fun to visit. This is right on the highway and cannot be missed. The place was serene and well maintained. Beautiful walkways around the light house.
  • It was worth going to the top. Only room for a few people up there great view of Lake Superior
  • Nice n quiet place with awesome views of Lake Superior
  • Loved the view of Lake Superior from the light house.
