  • We just stopped here super quick to flatten a penny before catching our flight. The rangers here seemed super helpful and the grounds were beautiful. We wish we could have stayed longer.  more »

  • Definitely worth visiting. A great lesson in early industrial revolution technology. Lots to see and learn about! Our twelve-year-old loved it.
  • If you live in the area and you have not visited. you're missing out on some fascinating local history and some nice photo ops. It is closed during winter months.
  • Excellent exhibit and interesting presentation by the Park Rangers. It's well worth the visit for some New England history!
  • Great place, it is historic back in the 1700s.
  • This is one of my favorite historic sites in New England. The Park Service puts on a fantastic, interactive tour in a restored and working iron works. It's amazing when they turn in the machinery and you can just imagine the workers of old and the important role they played in the growth of the New World.
