  • Stopped in at the track with my daughter before dropping her off at Skidmore for her Freshman year. I wanted her to see what Saratoga was all about. For me it was a bunch of memories b/c I lived here ...  read more »
  • This is a great. Spot to watch the races. Get there early to get a seat. Lots of great people watching.
  • This was our first time at the races. What a clean place! We loved walking around and found a spot in the shade to watch the horses on the track. Can't wait to go back next year! Was glad I had some t...  read more »
  • Saratoga Racetrack was a great deal of fun and excitement for the entire family. As non-bettors we were still able to enjoy the races, see the horses up close and watch as other spectators stressed over picking winners. On the Sunday we attended, there was a Taste of New York pavilion, as well as local artisans exhibiting thier crafts. The food wasn't as great or healthy as we had hoped, but there were a few Saratoga Springs staples and a few high-end food trucks. There's also plenty of live music and cold beer through the the facility. Absolutely worth the inexpensive entrance fee and overall experience.
  • We always look forward to coming to the races every year. Luckily we live close enough that we can do that often. We were very disappointed when we came on the 15th looking forward to getting a beach towel. We arrived at 1:30 to find beach towels were gone and also there were no programs left to buy. Don't know how this happened but it was very disappointing, especially when you see people walking around with 4 towels. We appreciate that great strides have been made to limit the number of giveaways each person can get but it all didn't work yesterday. We still had a good time and will always come back.
  • Fun time to see the horse races... walk around and see them up close in the paddock area before they enter the course. More new big screen tvs around the site. New, clean bathrooms. Wider selection of food and beverages.
  • Saratoga Race Course is a very friendly family place to go. Many, many picnic tables. Bring your own food and beverages in your coolers!! Food and beverage is offered at the track, but it is pricey!!! Parking is free at a distance or you pay, ones choice! The track is clean well maintained The rest rooms are very clean and well maintained!! A lot of help is offered if you have questions of any kind!! Saratoga Racetrack will always have a special place in our hearts!!! We have been going there twenty years or more!!!!! Please give it a try!! There many restaurants around the area! If you are staying at The Holiday Inn Saratoga Springs, the track is in walking distance, it is a nice walk! There a also a shuttle van to take you to the track or other places. If you go to the track I do hope you enjoy it as much as we have!!! Thankyou, Sandy Broderick!!!!!
  • Great experience! 5 bucks to get in and find a place to sit, bring a cooler youll have such a blast for little to no money. Aside from what you bet! There is live music, awesome venues, tons of people, and tons of really expensive cars. Kids love it too. You can take your children over to see the horses, there's a playground, soft serve ice cream, icees and two Saratoga race track horse mascots that walk around and say hi to the kids!
