Traffic-free Legacy Trail winds its way through a landscape that combines forested state parks and suburban green zones, taking cyclists and walkers through varied natural scenery and over three trestle bridges. This paved trail runs for about 16 km (10 mi), following the old route of one of Florida's historic rail corridors. Seven trailheads feature rest stops with free parking areas.   • This trail is great, well maintained and mostly flat. There are several areas to park your car and unload your bikes near the trail. Pack water and snacks as needed. Covered rest stops at intervals.  more »
  • Off to Venice we have wines up the legacy Trail to the end then down the venetian Trail on the other side. 50km! Nice but to do when it's not too hot...
