Creation & Earth History Museum & Bookstore, Santee
(3.8/5 based on 30+ reviews on the web)
Welcome to the Creation and Earth History Museum. This museum was designed, built and operated by the Institute for Creation Research for nearly 20 years.

Upon the Institutes recent move to Dallas, Texas, the museum, along with the building, was sold to Scantibodies Laboratory, Inc. Tom Cantor, the founder and owner of Scantibodies Laboratory, along with his wife Cheryl formed a non-profit 501(c)(3) ministry called Life and Light Foundation, from which to run the museum. Now owned and operated by the Life and Light Foundation, the museum will remain a show case for a literal six day young earth creation model, as well as expanding the emphasis on the incredible design found in that creation. With plans for future expansion of the museum and resource center, Life and Light Foundation looks forward to serving the Christian community.

  • Very well done museums of creation, cultures, history and all the wonders of human anatomy. So much to see! My husband and I have had to see it in 2 separate visits.
  • Re: Museum of Creation and Earth History; Santee, CA; October 23, 2016 This small museum has top quality exhibits which promotes a young earth scientific theory (as contrasted to old earth scientific ...  more »
  • Was there an ice age? How do eats WORK? These questions and hundreds more with scientific answers, and accessible even by small children!

  • I have a morbid fascination with this museum. I like to think it helps me understand why people are so stupid: how you can take a lie and put it on a wall with good graphic design and it becomes truth. That how you say something is more important that what you say. The Orwellian way you can take a word like "science" and make it mean the opposite. But, I usually walk out to the parking lot feeling really depressed, and wishing I had just gone to the Drive In Theater instead.
  • People often mock those who take the Biblical six days of creation as literal, but then when asked to review the scientific evidence of a young earth (6,000 years, not billions) contradict their reliance on scientific methodology by refusing to look at the young earth evidence. They believe Young Earthers are ignoring scientific "evidence" not realizing that Young Earthers examine the exact same evidence, but are coming to difference conclusions (a.k.a. hypothesis). This museum is glad to show you all the supportive evidence they have for a young earth, if you are willing to listen, instead of just mocking.
  • Loved it! I wish they had something from Martin Luther as he was a HUGE proponent of a 6 day creation!
  • There's a reason they're not permitted in the San Diego museum society. They're a joke spreading misinformation to suckers. It's sad that these people are spending money on this rather than actually helping people in need
  • Great Museum and loaded with valuable information. Great place for a field trip. Friendly staff and easy access. Would highly recommended it to family and friends.
