  • Bridlewood is one of the most beautiful wineries in the region. The wine isn't bad either! All of their wines are pretty affordable and easy to drink. The grounds used to be an equestrian center. The ...  more »

  • I contacted Bridlewood after my grandparents (members there) lost their home in the Thomas fire. I was hoping they'd be willing to replace some of the bottles they just lost. They immediately got back to me and shipped 3 bottles for free! I wanted to publicly thank them for their kindness and willingness to help in such devastating times.
  • Great mid-week visit had the place all to ourselves! Our hosts took their time and made the stop fun!
  • Although this is a nice property with beautiful surroundings the wine itself was disappointing, especially for the price. $20 per person for tasting and on the low end $28 per bottle. Everyone has their own taste when it comes to wine but to us there was nothing special here.
  • We came here for an afternoon wine tasting. The grounds are gorgeous. We ended up walking around the grounds and having a picnic here before we actually made it for the wine! If you are not a fan of wine tours, this place is still worth checking out because the grounds are stunning!
  • I'm not much for going on wine tours, but I'm glad that I did the one offered at Bridlewood Estate Winery. The grounds alone are a sight to behold, with sweeping panoramas of the Santa Ynez Valley, a tree-lined driveway leading up to the estate buildings, 140+ acres of vines, gazebos and sitting/picnic areas throughout, etc. There's even a man-made lake for vineyard-specific members located in what would have been the center green of a horse racing track. Our tour guide, Kevin, was really knowledgeable and very accommodating of all the questions we had. I think it helped that he grew up in the area, but he's also schooled in all there is to know about the wine produced by the estate, and also the company writ large. I would definitely recommend this tour! The tour closing included a wine tasting of the estate's best offerings. YUM!
