Where to stay in Santa Rosa

The old claim that Santa Rosa is "Where Everything Comes Together" remains undeniably true, at least when it comes to its accommodations. Although you can always stay in San Francisco, just an hour to the south, Santa Rosa offers plenty of lodging options to suit every traveler's budget. You can choose from among luxury hotels, vacation rental homes, and inns, all within minutes of downtown. If you prefer to rough it in wine country, choose one of the area's rustic campgrounds.

  • I have been a member of Sunce WIne Club for over 10 years. Frane makes some amazing wines. I have nicknamed him "The Mechanic" as he will make any wine and he makes it very well. Wines in general can ...  more »
  • Stopped at this tasting room on the way up Hwy 12 and we are certainly glad we did. The variety of wines were surprising and everyone we sampled were wonderful. Well worth our time.  more »
  • This place has some wines that are very bold and other that have less bite to them. You will most likely find something here that you like. The prices are reasonable, but not cheap.  more »

  • They got my order completely wrong. Called to get it straight and they asked me to reorder more wine to correct their mistake. When I said I wanted refund for the difference they took my credit card info over the phone, said they'd get back to me in a couple of days, and the did NOTHING. Basically they gave me the run-around. Good wine marred buy seriously awful customer service.
  • Quiet winery with a small tasting room. Producer of small case wines in many varieties. Free tasting!
  • First experience at a vineyard and it was incredible. Took our children, were greeted so kindly, allowed to walk the grounds, bocce ball for the kids, friendly staff and wonderful wine. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable experience.
  • Stopped here at the end of the day about a week ago. Wonderful experience. We did barrel tasting for futures and the wines were wonderful. The Zin's were some of my favorite. Great low key winery with very friendly staff. Love this winery
  • This is our all time favorite winery. We got a personal tour, barrel tasting experience & the owner from Croatia last June & can't wait to go back! We just joined their wine club as well. A must if you want a relaxing, personal experience but call to let them know you're coming in advance so they have someone to show it all to you. Nikki was our guide & she is the best! And the manager!
