Where to stay in Santa Rosa

The old claim that Santa Rosa is "Where Everything Comes Together" remains undeniably true, at least when it comes to its accommodations. Although you can always stay in San Francisco, just an hour to the south, Santa Rosa offers plenty of lodging options to suit every traveler's budget. You can choose from among luxury hotels, vacation rental homes, and inns, all within minutes of downtown. If you prefer to rough it in wine country, choose one of the area's rustic campgrounds.

  • Gracious employees, beautiful setting, enjoyed a self guided tour through the vineyards, not the most opulent, comfortable  more »
  • Amazing lunch with wine pairings. A beautiful day for this. Amazing sommelier with lunch pairings. I think we are spending money on wines after.  more »
  • Was recommended by friends to do this. All I can say is WOW! Very creative food prep and matched incredibly well with their wine. Would definitely do this again and will recommend to others.  more »

  • Did the food and wine pairing per recommendation of our airbnb host, and it was one of the best culinary experiences I've had. We went as a group of 11, and everyone enjoy their food and wine. Perfectly paired. The sear on the salmon was amazing, the lamb burger and polenta fries were delicious, and the pistachio cake with fresh strawberries and cream was perfection. Would highly recommend :).
  • Consistently delicious wines that satisfy! For the past 20+ years that I have been enjoying SF wines, every vintage improves from the previous year. The proof is in the bottle....plus Robert Parker just awarded St Francis five 90+ ratings for the 2013 vintage (90, 92+, 93, 94 & 95)! Congratulations!
  • We did a wine pairing lunch here, amazing!! Brilliant chef and wonderful, informative service!!
  • I am biased as I belong to the wine club. Fantastic Zinfandel. Reserve a food and wine pairing. It will be a treasure.
  • Ok wines (syrah in the pinot noir?). Good location to have a wine/cheese pairing. On the pricier side.
