  • Luckily this park wasn't destroyed by the recent fires. It is recommended to enjoy with your family, with a nice hike around the lake surrounded by beautiful shade trees. Highly recommended!  more »

  • Good experience overall but DON'T RENT PEDDLE BOATS! Their 4-person Peddle boats (not paddleboards) are the most cheap and difficult to use Peddle boats with uncomfortable seats I've ever tried--I've rented them several times and had them at summer camp as a child. The flimsy Rudder barely did anything to steer even when it was clear of weeds, the "adjustable" seats kept coming out of their sockets, and the peddles themselves were small and awkward to Peddle. I regret letting my father talk us into renting the peddle boat, it was a lousy time! The overall experience at the lake was nice and the boat rental staff were very nice and helpful. There were plenty quiet, private areas across the lake, despite being a very hot Sunday and father's day.
  • I've been visiting Spring Lake Park for 18 years. And I enjoy all the wonderful things you can do at this park. You can boat, (electric motors only) swim, walk, jog, hike or bicycle. Fish from bank or boat. You can picnic and cook some food. Or you can camp. No camping equipment? Rent a cabin. It's a great place for families, young people or seniors. And you have to pay a fee for parking or have a yearly or senior pass.
  • I love the environment. So serene and the hiking and camping sites are very nice. One of my best place to spend my weekends just closer to home.😂
  • One of my favorite easily accessible outdoor spaces. Great for swimming in the lagoon in the summer and fishing year-round. Lots of summer activities and the camp sites are nice. The trails up to Annadel are rocky and fun for mountain biking. The peninsula in the main lake area has some of the largest blackberries I've seen.
  • Nice regional Park with access to Annadel State Park and Howarth City Park. There's a nice walk around the lake and we enjoy stand-up paddle boarding in the summer

Where to stay in Santa Rosa

The old claim that Santa Rosa is "Where Everything Comes Together" remains undeniably true, at least when it comes to its accommodations. Although you can always stay in San Francisco, just an hour to the south, Santa Rosa offers plenty of lodging options to suit every traveler's budget. You can choose from among luxury hotels, vacation rental homes, and inns, all within minutes of downtown. If you prefer to rough it in wine country, choose one of the area's rustic campgrounds.
