I loved this museum. It gave me a flashback to watching the Peanuts cartoons and reading the comics as a child. The admission price of $12 is reasonable, but I found a coupon in a local chamber of com...  more »

What a great place to visit. Seeing all the old Peanuts cartoons brought back memories of younger days. The really neat part was gaining an understanding of the meaning and the origin of many of them....  more »

Happily surprised to learn about his place. The museum was smaller than I expected but very nicely done. The admission is a little steep but nothing to stop a true Peanuts fan! I really love all the s...  more »

If you love Charlie Brown and the Peanuts gang you will love this place. From the mosaic Charlie Brown image to the original art work to the hockey drink and gift so it's a great place to visit. We arrived before they opened and we were planning on leaving before it opened because had to be somewhere else, when a girl saw us looking through the windows. She opened the door to tell us they were closed but would be opening later. When I told her I knew that, but we would be gone before they opened. She then offered to let us go in for a few minutes. We're shocked, I did not ask nor would I have expected it. But she was so sweet and I'm so glad I got to see it. Charlie Brown was such a big part of my childhood, I had tears in my eyes a good portion of my time there. So go out of your way to see this place, it's well worth it.

I have been a Peanuts fan for most of my life, so I was eager to get to this museum. It's not pretentious at all, and the exhibits are very well done, including Schulz's office. The gift shop is well stocked, if a tad bit kitschy. There also is an ice rink, the Warm Puppy Cafe, where Schulz's table is still reserved, and very nice grounds. Well worth it if you're a Peanuts fan.

Quaint and entertaining stop. How awesome to have the resources to build an arena of the sport you love to share with your personal cafe. His art was not the comic strip but rather how he lived. I would not travel far to come here unless I was an avid fan. I happened upon this museum by accident. Short, sweet and not as expensive as some little places, however $12 per person does add up.

Wonderful museum of Peanuts creator. Plenty to enjoy here. You can make a day of it and get some time on the ice in the rink next door.

We heard about this museum years before we actually made the trip up.  Out in front of the museum are life size figures of Schultz's creation.  I was impressed that a museum was built for a "cartoon character" but for the "creator, I'm sure it was an honor!"   The inside was impressive with Schultz's drawings and other works of art throughout the museum.  There was also a display of a 50s furniture that he used in one of his comic strips.  His comic's strips were simple but had a huge effect on millions of followers.   The museum was well organized and had a lot of displays depicting Mr. Schultz's life and his cartoon strip of the Peanut's Gang.
