  • Conveniently located but small - not a lot to see but probably more appealing to young kids than adults.
  • I should have come here first to read the reviews. I walked in took one spin around the place and was finished in 5 minutes. I found the place to be very run down and dirty. Would not recommend this a...  read more »
  • If you walk in the door to the register, that's pretty much it! Good way to kill 15mins but didn't find it that interesting. the people are lovely and can spin a good yarn if your looking to kill some...  read more »
  • It's very small, more educational then anything else. The workers looked a little bored and there was a lot going on. Their moon jellies looked a bit battered and poor kept. There is a section in the back showing how precipitation works and a science area with lots of these jars with dead fish? But, it was good for my 2 1/2 year old neice and 1 year old son. They loved petting the star fish.
  • Good aquarium to visit for an hour. Would recommend stopping in on your larger tour of Santa Monica. Pier, promenade, aquarium. Can park at the mall and it's a 15 min walk here.
  • Such a great little educational place. We have a 5 and 7 year old and spent the afternoon at the aquarium after spending the morning on the pier. Perfect price point for our family, $5/adult, kids under 12 free. The kids had a great time at the touch tanks and watching the staff feed the fish. Since it was only $10 for our family of 4, when the kids were done with everything we felt like we got our money's worth.
  • I still remember enjoying the sun on Santa Monica Beach with my friends back in the 1960's.
  • Fantastic place. Very awesome. They have Touch tanks the kids can touch a variety of starfish
