  • We have visited Santa Monica Beach several times. On our last visit we were lucky to stay at Shutters on the Beach. Our room had a view on the Santa Monica Beach. We walked along the beach for a mile ...  more »
  • It's such a vibrant beach, many people and restaurants! We came in September so the weather was warm. I enjoyed looking at the beach, as far as the eyes can see. There were also expensive beach houses...  more »
  • Nothing more touching of cold Pacific water already the trip is worth. Exudes an incredible climate, peace and tranquility. A walk along its miles of fantastic sand, sit on it awhile to look at infinity. A pleasure!

  • Santa Monica has great beaches in a great location. A couple blocks below third street, it is in a great location. There are great restaurants and shops nearby. The view of Malibu to the North, and Palos Verdes to the South are great, especially at/near sunset. This place is idyllic and a must-see if you are looking for a taste of California life. The Santa Monica pier splits the beach. It is a lot of fun its carnival rides, roller coasters, and its arcades. The food on the pier is expensive, however, and I would recommend walking up into Santa Monica to find something to eat.
  • So so so so crowded but if you can find a parking spot (go early) and relax and set up. It's a really lovely beach. Close to the pier and lots of stuff to do in the area, it is like getting away in a crowded place though. Loved boogie boarding and being able to listen to the performers on the pier. All within a short walk of the parking right at the beach. it cost $12 and cash only but I always think it's well worth it. The bottom one is a bit harder to get to and the pier one fills up very fast but will always recommend the convenience!
  • Gorgeous Beach with a lot of space. Great for sunbathing, swimming, riding a bike, rollerskating. Food, restrooms and rental facilities located on Santa Monica Pier. Most of the time lifeguard on duty.
  • Best beach 🌊 in California. Lots of people to chill there . Good to watch skating , surfing and different people over there ... love it 😍 The view from the giant wheel is superb ... Must experience ... 👌🏻
  • The beach going down from the pier to towards Venice is much more of a place to really get some fun out of your day at then going and hanging out in the other side.
