  • So so so so crowded but if you can find a parking spot (go early) and relax and set up. It's a really lovely beach. Close to the pier and lots of stuff to do in the area, it is like getting away in a crowded place though. Loved boogie boarding and being able to listen to the performers on the pier. All within a short walk of the parking right at the beach. it cost $12 and cash only but I always think it's well worth it. The bottom one is a bit harder to get to and the pier one fills up very fast but will always recommend the convenience!
  • Very beautiful and a lot of people enjoy the sun shine during weekends. It's not even hot there, the breezes just blow the hot away, and you can enjoy the coolness.
  • Squirtle just as the water hits the beach. Fun shops and vendors. Couple Pokémon gyms. Only a few Poke-stops on the pier. Gets a bit crowded. Lots of Machop. Others: Psyduck, Magicarp, Tentacool...did catch an Aerodactyl just before hitting the pier.
  • If you want hang around for one day after a couple Sightseeing tours then you've to go to the Santa Monica Beach. Famous of course since "Baywatch" and many other TV-Shows have been filmed here like "Beverly Hills 90210", and "Pacific Blue". You can walk and visiting the small stores/Shops or rent a bicycle and ride on the Promenade down to the famous "Muscle Beach", "Venice Beach" and "Marina Del Rey" Harbor. Tip: the beach is empty in the early morning and you will have a good light for photos (also on the evening/Sunset).
  • Beautiful clean beach with a beautiful nice mall across the street. Lots of street and public parking. Very nice views. The beach can get very crowded on summer weekends though. Overall a nice place to hang out either by the beach , pier or the mall across the street.
