  • Green location with views of the Pacific. (many banks public, ideal for the sunset). Many people take yoga classes. Populated by any wild squirrels (behind the wooden fence), Board, bring under shell peanuts and unsalted (it is forbidden to feed them by hand). Without food you will be uninteresting and are likely not to see.

  • My favorite place for brisk walks, yoga, picnic on the grass and sunsets. Especially the stretch between California and it's northern end is beautifully landscaped and well kept. Such a lovely place t...  more »
  • I was there in April, weather was cool but still great for a morning run, park is beautiful overlooking the ocean and great for walking or running, I even saw 1 "star" walking.

  • Wonderful people, serene & peaceful away from the hustle & bustle of New York. New York is home to me, although Los Angeles quiet zones this is t place to be in Palisades Park, California. People are as beautiful and focused as the place.
  • My wife and I absolutely love coming out here to hang out and relax. Set up some chairs and enjoy the environment, ocean breeze flows through nicely and there's people out and about walking their dogs and what not. Definitely a great place to hang out and spend an afternoon.
  • Beautiful views over the pier and the ocean. Unfortunately there are man homeless people living here.
  • Nice beach with lots of volleyball courts and 2 bar/restaurants in the back near the parking. If you don't go down to the beach to park, you can find parking on top of the cliff. But signs directing pedestrians to the pathway down the cliff would be nice, because if you can find it you have to walk around. Santa Monica pier is right next door as well and over there you have a mini carnival type setting that's poppin every day/night (especially during the summer). The only downside is the beach ocean front has a lot of rocks.
  • I love taking my walks North from California Avenue to San Vicente. The park is full of trees variety of trees palm trees, eucalyptus trees and more then I do some yoga postures. The Palisades Park faces the pacific ocean
