  • This ski area is a great mid-size ski area for all ability ranges. It goes from easy green runs to alarming double black diamonds. Someone with low intermediate skills can experience the entire area, ...  read more »

  • Great local ski area. We go almost every weekend and it is a ton of fun. Recommended for all ages and levels
  • The skiing is great, and I highly recommend the blues up on the top of the mountain. The blues are good levels for intermediates. We haven't skied I'm five years and they were very doable, but still a slight challenge. There are also ample black diamonds from the top and greens on the lower slopes. The lower slopes tend to be more crowded then the upper. Be warned: if you are renting equipment, come early before the rental place opens at 8. We got there at opening, and waited on line for an hour. If we had come 30 minutes early, there wouldn't have been a line. If you have small children, returning the equipment can be chaotic. With many people trying to enter a small space.
  • Absolutely perfect. Mountain is large enough for crowds to spread out. We went during peak season and hardly waited in any lines at all. Eating area is newly renovated and there is ample seating and the food was actually good. We're 100% going back soon!
  • Great skiing, beware of the Texans. Not too expensive, great value for family skiing. Beautiful views. #skiBueno
  • Great ski instructors! Super patient and friendly, they had me skiing in two days. Denise definitely stood out, she is an all round awesome human being. I had an amazing time and highly recommend their ski school.
  • My 6 Year old daughter was taking group lessons in the morning, the instructor "Wilk" was beyond rude and unfriendly towards myself and my daughter. After they went off to their lesson I did a run and hit easy street to see how my daughter was doing. I found her on pine flats crying, upset and alone. The instructor had left her behind on top of easy street. When I calmed her down and got her in the lodge safely, I confronted the director of the program "Noel." I was informed it doesn't happen and I was incorrect. When I found the instructor and let him have it he blamed my daughter for "not keeping up." This on top of outrageous prices is enough to keep is away for good. Go to Sipapu, cheap and beyond friendly. Stay away from Santa Fe Ski Area!
